checking in

Hi everyone!

Every time I check the auction comm, I'm so very glad to see the offers and bids made. And every time I visit the doantion page and see the donation made for the auction, I'm twive as glad!
Now, there are a lot of biddings closed. So, let's chack if everything is going smoothly.

If you have any problems, for example:
- the winner didn't make a donation yet
- the winner is unclear for some reasons
- the seller doesn't seem to respond
- or anything else,
please comment on this post (the comments are screened) or PM me personally.

Thank you for participating!

Offered: Fanvideo

I will make a Torchwood (including CoE) and/or Doctor Who (new series only) fanvid with the music/footage/idea of your choice. Any pairing or genre is possible!

The winner should select the music track; preferable duration is about 2-3 minutes. If the track you like is too long, please PM me.

And as far as I’m not very good at producing creative fanvid ideas, it would also be good if the winner had a more or less precise plan of the video, or could name certain series/episodes he/she wants to be used etc.

So if you have a ready fanvid playing in your head and are no vidder yourself, I’ll help you gladly :)

An example of my work can be found here: SIJ promo.
Please feel free to PM me for any details.

Delivery: by May 1st, by e-mail and/or PM

mod post

I've just looked through the offers for the auction, and oh my, aren't they great! I'd buy them all if I could. People who already won their auctions, I so envy you. Dear sellers, thank you!

Now, some of our auctions are already closed, and I've seen the donations being made. BRILLIANT!
Love you all. Go on :)

Offered: Doctor Watson LJ mood theme

Offered: I offer to make a Livejournal mood theme for the winning bidder. 132 different pictures (one for each LJ mood), jpg or png. Size: 100x60 pixel. No animations, just still pictures. The pictures I'll use for the mood theme will come from the 2010 movie Sherlock Holmes - the one with the dinosaurs not the other one - and will be of Doctor Watson, played by Gareth David-Lloyd. (Yes, this fangirl will go through the "hardship" of watching the movie again and again to find the pictures she needs for the mood theme. All in the name of charity! ;-)

For samples: click here for the mood themes I've made before.

Delivery: I'll deliver the 132 pictures of the mood theme in a zip file. If the winner wants to have them they can get the screen caps in original size, too. In order to use the mood theme, the winner will have to upload the pictures (e.g. to LJ's Scrapbook or to a website like Photobucket.com) and follow the LJ instructions. (As far as I know only plus and paid account users can have a custom mood theme.) Please give me three weeks after the auction has ended to make the mood theme.

Bidding: Minimum bid is £1.00, auction ends 31st March 2010.
Offer: I am offering a handmade beadwoven pendant made of Czech glass disc beads in a deep ruby red and iridescent ruby seed beads. The beads have been intricately woven into a twelve-sided, pentagonal firm yet hollow bead-ball. The shape is also called a dodecahedron - a.k.a. Dungeon Dice!
This is one of my favorite shapes to bead. I have created many variations of the pattern. I love using disc beads because it gives this shape a very organic feel. The bead-ball is very tactile and you will find yourself playing with it without realizing it.
The bead-ball is 2 cm in diameter and will come strung on an 18 inch long sterling silver serpent chain.

Delivery: I will ship the pendant as soon as bidding has ended and payment has been made to CiN.

Bidding: Starting Bid: 9 GBP
Bidding Starts March 8, 2010
Bidding Ends March 31, 2010

Offer: I am offering a handmade, beadwoven pendant of Swarovski crystal beads and seed beads woven by myself. The pattern is my own design. The color of the crystals is called Mocca and is a rich, deep, coffee brown that is slightly more translucent than how it photographed (which seemed very fitting). The seed beads are an iridescent plummy-brown color. The pendant hangs from a 6 mm gold-filled split-ring and will come on an 18 inch gold plated serpent chain. The diameter of the pendant is 27 mm across.

Delivery: I will ship the pendant as soon as bidding has ended and payment has been made to CiN.

Bidding: Starting Bid: 10 GBP

Bidding Ends March 31, 2010

Offered: Moebius cowl/scarf, handknitted

 Description
So, what am I offering? A handknitted, hot-off-the-needles, Moebius cowl/scarf. And you may wonder, what the heck is a Moebius cowl/scarf? Well, it's a cowl/scarf based on a Moebius strip, and knitted using the wonderful, seam-free techniques described by Cat Bordhi  in her books.
More (and pictures) under the cut...Collapse )

Emailed file to those donating five pounds or more to CiN, exclusive to them until at least May 1.

I think this is the first bit of fiction in the auction!

This is a 63K+ novel, AU after Goblet of Fire.  It is Harry/Draco (with a small side of Snape/Draco), NC-17, and does have some dub-con and non-con scenes.  I'm all for the happy ending, though, so after the angst is all said and done, it's good.

The summer before seventh year, Draco must choose between his family honor and service to the Dark Lord, and his feelings for Harry Potter.

This was very briefly available in a limited run as a in-print fanzine from Graceful Ravens Press.  It has never been net-published.

ETA:  Due to the rating, I will require an age statement before emailing the file.
Offered: 5 Torchwood trading cards. #145C (Captain Jack, stolen identity), #108C (Captain Jack, in the Great War), #047C (Captain John Hart, with sword), #181C (Captain John Hart, with Vortex manipulator), #007C (Captain John Hart) + a penny. The penny has the Tardis on it and was squished at the Doctor Who exhibition at the Red Dragon Centre in Cardiff. Pictures under the cut.Collapse )

Delivery: Worldwide. I'll mail them the day after the auction ends.

Bidding: Minimum bid is £1.00. Auction ends on 14th March 2010.
Offered: 6 Torchwood trading cards. #058C (Resurrection Device), #067 (Pteranodon), #045C (Janet the Weevil), #098C (Torchwood Hub), #168C (Ianto Jones, Job Hunting) and #001R (Torchwood) + a penny. The penny has the Tardis on it and was squished at the Doctor Who exhibition at the Red Dragon Centre in Cardiff. Pictures under the cut.Collapse )

Even if you don't collect the cards, they make very nice bookmarks. ;-)

Delivery: Worldwide. I'll mail them the day after the auction ends.

Bidding: Minimum bid is £1.00. Auction ends on 14th March 2010.
Offer:  I am offering a reversible handknitted scarf, made from a pattern I created myself, in a soft acrylic yarn.  The color is officially called 'Autumn Red', but it really is the wonderful burgundy that we saw Ianto wear so often. Here's a picture of the scarf.  The color is actually a much richer, less 'red', color.

The scarf will be approximately 4 feet long and 4 inches wide at the narrowest part.  Fringes can be added if the winner desires.  The scarf in the photo is the actual scarf the winner will receive.

Delivery:  I will ship the scarf as soon as the bidding is finished, unless the winner desires fringes.  If I have to add fringes, I will ship within 2 weeks of the end of bidding.

Bidding:  Starting bid:  6 GBP
               Bidding starts March 1, 2010
               Bidding ends March 31, 2010
               One winner

Offered: Catherine Tate or Donna mood theme

Offered: I offer to make a Livejournal mood theme for the winning bidder. 132 different pictures (one for each LJ mood), jpg or png. Size: 100x60 pixel. No animations, just still pictures. The winner can decide if they want to have a Donna mood theme or a Catherine Tate mood theme.

The pictures for the Donna mood will come - naturally - from Doctor Who, the ones for the Catherine Tate mood theme will probably be a mixture of screen caps from Doctor Who, WildWest, The Catherine Tate Show, Bleak House, Bad Mother's Handbook, Sixty Six, Mrs Ratcliffe's Revolution and Scenes of a Sexual Nature (might not include all of them, but it's always good to have several things to choose from). I'll decide which caps to use, but the winner can tell me if they have any preferences (like if they ship or can't stand the idea of Donna/Ten, really like/dislike one of the Catherine Tate movies / TV series I listed, ...). If someone is a fan of The Catherine Tate Show and wants a mood theme only with pictures from that show I could probably work with that, too.

For samples, click here for the mood themes I've made before.

Bidding: Minimum bid is £1.00, auction ends 14th March 2010.

Offer: Torchwood Screen Caps

Offer: I offer to make 600 screen caps (600 single pictures) of ONE episode of Torchwood from series one or two. The format can either be png or jpg, depending on what the winner wants. I'll make a few sample screen caps first and the winner can decide which size they want them in. The winner can tell me which scenes / pairings to concentrate on. (Already stated above, but just to make it clear: I won't do any screen caps of "Children of Earth".)

Delivery: Whatever is most convenient for the winner. I can upload the pictures in one big or several smaller zip file(s) and send the winner the link(s). I can also make some simple pages on my website I'll give the winner access to where they can have a look at the pictures first before downloading either all of them or just the ones they would like to keep. Please give me a week after the auction has ended to make the screen caps.

For samples of non-TW screen caps I've made in the past click here and follow the link to the gallery.

Bidding: Starting bid is £1.00, end of auction is 6th March 2010. Edited on 12th March: Because there hadn't been any bidders until 6th March I extend the closing date until 20th March.
Offered: I offer a programme and a leaflet of the pantomine Cinderella that ran from 8th December 2009 to 3rd January 2010 in Preston. Screenshot.Collapse )

Delivery: Worldwide. I'll mail them to the winner the day after the auction ends.

Bidding: Minumum bid ist £1.00. Auction ends 8th March 2010.

5 custom button badges- Closed

Okay. I'll be the first to offer something for bid shall I?

The winning bidder will receive five custom made metal button badges with a design (or designs) of thier choice. The badges are the 1 1/4 inch size.
